Our Black Angus cattle spend their entire lives on our pastures. We manage our pastures and grass selection carefully wrapping the bales to preserve and ferment the hay to keep nutrients inside until the day our livestock eat it. We work closely with a nutritionist ensuring each age group gets the essentials they need. Everything our cattle eat we raise!
We select registered Angus bulls with genetics high in ribeye and marbling. Green Grass Cattle Company's name was chosen because of our belief in raising cattle in their natural habitat, on grass. If you want to see what happiness is to a cow, turn it out on a fresh green pasture! Good genetics, good nutrition, clean water and happy cows produce better tasting meat!
